Rev. Dr. Lafayette Maxwell - Pastor

Rev. Maxwell has been the Shepard at Mt. Zion since 1979. He received his B.A. Degree in Political Science from The University of Florida, his Master's Degree from Duke Divinity School and his Doctorate Degree from Virginia Union Theological Seminary. He is the past Moderator of the New Hope Association. He is a native of Jacksonville, FL.

 

 

Rev. Lateshia Anthony - Associate Minister

Rev. Anthony is an Alumnus of Shaw University where she received her Master of Divinity Degree.  She is a breast cancer survivor and a woman of strong faith who seeks to share the healing power of Christ with those who struggle with disease and depair.  She is the proud mother of three children and a native of Raleigh, NC

 

 

Rev. Wayne Wilhelm - Associate Minister

Rev. Wilhelm is an Alumnus of Apex School of Theology where he received his Bachelors of Divinity Degree.  He is currently studying for the Master of Divinity degree at Apex School of Theology.  He and his wife, Kelli are the proud parents of four children.  He is a native of Morrisville, NC.

 

 

Rev. Dr. Gladys Long - Associate Minister

Rev. Long is a Professor of Counselor Education at Apex School of Theology.  She received her B.A in Liberal Studies with a minor in Religion and Philosophy from Shaw University Divinity School, her Master of Divinity form Duke University Divinity School and her Doctorate of Ministry (Counseling) at the Graduate Theological Foundation of South Bend, IN.  Through her life's journey of 23 years in the preaching ministry, she has faitfully sought to become a voice for God as a servant carrying out the ministry upon which she is called.  She and her husband Eugene are the proud parents of three children.  She is a native of Hillsborough, NC.

 

 

Rev. Stephen Gorham - Associate Minister

Rev. Gorham is an Alumnus of Shaw University.  He is currently studying for the Master of Divinity degree at Duke University.
